Get Birth Ready
This is the labor preparation class you need. Geared towards third trimester mamas, we will prepare you for what to expect during labor, get your mind and body prepared for labor, build your confidence moving through labor positions, and prepare your partner to physically support you in labor.
Do you want to feel confident and prepared for labor and birth? Whether you're a first time mom, planning a home birth, wanting to labor at home as long as possible, wanting to feel confident laboring at the hospital, or a second time mom wanting more from her next experience, our Get Birth Ready class will give you the tools you need to prepare for the birth you want. Unlike a typical childbirth ed class, this is an active, hands-on learning experience where we will be practicing gentle birth preparation exercises, labor positions, and comfort measures. Our class focuses on preparing expecting moms both mentally and physically for labor. We teach you how to move through labor positions confidently and teach the partners how to use massage techniques, counter pressure, and other comfort measures to support mom during labor. Cost is $150 and includes resource materials.
Private Classes- Get Birth Ready
This is the same class, Get Birth Ready, but taught by individualized instruction in the comfort of your own home. We will practice different labor positions using your furniture and birth support tools in various rooms of your house. This option is great for busy parents, parents planning a home birth, and for parents who would like to labor at home for as long as possible.
